Location. The Reach Resort is a tropical playground offering the best of Key West, Fla. With the only natural beach on the island as a backdrop, this hotel is an ideal destination for sun and water enthusiasts. The private 450 foot stretch of white sandy beach provides unimpeded entry into the Atlantic Ocean. Guests are within two miles of Duval Street, Ernest Hemingway Home & Museum and the Key West Lighthouse. Hotel Features. One of the hotel's top attractions is its restaurant, Shula's on the Beach, owned by former Miami Dolphins coach Don Shula. The restaurant specializes in steaks and seafood. The Sandbar serves buffet and an a la carte breakfast on Shula's veranda, in addition to salads, sandwiches, grilled items and tropical drinks. Room service is available during limited hours. The hotel's business center offers complimentary wireless Internet access. Resort staff members roam the beach and pool areas, distributing complimentary frozen towels and Popsicles to sunbathers. Guests enjoy bicycling, deep sea fishing, scuba, snorkeling and parasailing or they can lounge by the resort's oceanside pool. Also featured is a health spa and complimentary access to a nearby fitness center. Two blocks away, a companion hotel offers supervised children's activities for a fee. Babysitting services are available.
